Megan Alice invites you into conversation with an original methodology for speculative animation as a living archive, pedagogical tool, and participatory protocol for reclaiming time as a site of liberation.

The Echo Passage Project
A genealogy project grounded in the Echo Passage, a corridor stretching from South Carolina through Mississippi and Tennessee into Texas, shaped by the afterlives of the Second Middle Passage and subsequent internal migrations. This project approaches migration as a structuring condition that shapes how memory, sound, ritual, and belonging are carried, fractured, and reconstituted across generations. The current research focuses on a single generation within this corridor, traced through both maternal and paternal lines.
In Their Light: A Living Tribute to the Ancestral Constellation
A poetic coffee table book honoring iconic Black women in American history through symbolic silhouette art, kinetic typography, and deeply personal tributes. This project celebrates cultural memory and ancestral guidance as living forces.
