Megan Alice Thompson is a cultural producer who cultivates spaces across culture, education, and community where Black thought and creativity are the through line and destination.
For nearly a decade, she has brought operational rigour and genuine cultural insight to experiences ranging from large-scale international conferences to intimate community programmes rooted in diasporic identity and belonging. Her work is guided by a simple belief: that meaningful encounters have the power to educate, inspire, and connect human beings across difference.
Megan holds an MA in African Studies from SOAS University of London, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Public Relations. Her career spans Texas, Washington DC, and London, working across higher education, nonprofit, and commercial sectors with organisations locally and internationally.
Through Dear MegAlice, she curates storytelling projects, cultural research experiences, and event strategies that explore the boundaries of how we engage with history, culture, and each other — centring Black creative authorship as both method and destination
